So after my last journal entry in which I promised to try to be better at commenting and answering comments, it seems I didn't do very well. I haven't been around on dA very much recently. My wife is due to have a baby in about seven weeks and in preparation I've been busy at weekends building a crib [link] . It's taken an awful long time and has had first dibs on my spare time since about March. There are just a few details left to complete and, all things going well, the mattress will be ready to pick up this week. Then it just needs varnishing and it will be ready for when Bubba D comes home.

To anyone who has stopped by my gallery in the last few months, left comments and faves, and especially to my new watchers - thanks very much for our support. I always try to be better at getting back to people, I'm just not very good at it. Please don't misinterpret it as ingratitude.
